The 3rd GMA Youth Summit, with the theme “Basta Kabataang GMAnians, KaYOUNGKaya!” was held on August 17, 2024, in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan. Over 300 youth leaders from various organizations, academic institutions, Sangguniang Kabataan, and the Local Youth Development Council gathered for a day of learning, collaboration, and empowerment.

This year’s summit marked a significant milestone as it introduced the first-ever awarding of the Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan Council and Outstanding Youth Organization. The Empowered Association of the
Systematic Youth-Pulido (EASY-P) earned the title of Most Outstanding Youth Organization, while the Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Brgy. F. De Castro was recognized as the Most Outstanding SK Council.

Now in its third year, the GMA Youth Summit reflects the continuous efforts of Mayor Maricel Echevarria-Torres to promote participative governance by Motivating, Elevating, and Transforming youth leadership in the municipality of General Mariano Alvarez.
